FAI EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR FREE FLIGHT MODEL AIRCRAFT CLASS F1E FOR SENIORS AND JUNIORS 22 – 27 August 2010, TURDA, ROMANIA
BULLETIN 1
ORGANIZER: The Romanian Modelling Federation,in co-operation with Romanian Aero Club, City Hall Turda and military authorities.
DATE: 22 – 27 AUGUST 2010
VENUE: The town of Turda,situated North-West of Romania, in Transilvania, 35 km far from Cluj Napoca, and 435 km far from Bucharest. The flying site is on “Bogata” hills close to city of Turda (10 km),where 2003 , 2007 World Championships F1E and European Championships 1996, 2000 and 2006 took place. Starting with 1994, we organize two World Cup contest every year in “Bogata” hill. The height difference between lowest and highest point of that area is 100-200 m and the site is grass covered. The are no agricultural fields, houses, trees or any other obstacles within the area. Turda can be reached from any direction driving on E81. Cluj can be reached by plane from any direction. Campia Turzii(15.km far from Turda) can be reached from any direction by train.
RULES: The F.A.I. Sporting Code, General Section,Sporting Code Section 4a,4b,4c.
PARTICIPANTS: Each National Aeroclub/National Federation may enter a team consisting of 3 seniors, 3 juniors, team manager, team manager’s assistant, 2008 European senior Champion, 2008 European junior Champion (if still junior), one time keeper ,helpers, supporters, press representative.
FAI LICENSE: Each competitor and TM must possess a valid FAI license for 2010.

TIME KEEPERS: Each National Team may participate with one timekeeper for whom the organizer will provide full board and lodging, local transportation, banquet, souvenirs, trip for all activity in the World Championships and World Cups. The time keepers are requested to bring their own binoculars, tripod and stopwatches.
